2006
Studio
From the summer of 2001 through early 2005 I scaled up a few orders of magnitude; I hand built a 500 sq. ft. studio space. This 'first floor attic space' was designed as a daily work and occasional guest space. 2D architectural plans were imported into Alias and the structure was built on screen before a single board was cut. Materials were calculated rather than estimated and 2D plots provided detailed reference sheets through each phase of construction.
